Mission Statement
Established in 1992, the CSP program provides independent medication reviews of all psychotropic medication consent requests for youth in care of the state of Illinois. Our goal is to improve the safety and effectiveness of pharmacotherapy using evidence-based research to inform our consultation to the DCFS Psychotropic medication consent process. We strive to deliver comprehensive, responsive service for youth in care in partnership with DCFS, providers and their caretakers.
